In my spare time, I enjoy writing spoken-word poems. They are emotional outlets where my thoughts can flow freely and reflect on life's moments. I love romantic movies, the true 'love story' ones.
For me, theatre, TV and film are evolving platforms where all actors get to discover who they are by tapping deep into characters. I'm beginning to notice more opportunities for black creatives, encouraging us to create the change we want to see. We need greater access to make-up artists and culturally diverse stylists who are knowledgeable about styling Black hair, hair of different textures and ethnicities.
